Battel Hall is a newly restored 14th century manor house situated on the edge of the Leeds Castle estate in Kent. Surrounded by the 500 acres of parkland and luscious gardens that surround the 900-year- old Castle, Battel Hall is a stunning venue suitable for romantic weddings and incredible celebrations whatever the season.
With an exceptional catering team and in-house floristry team led by the RHS award-winning Louise Roots, Leeds Castle aims to exceed all of your wedding day expectations with their fantastic service and attention to detail. Emerging from an extensive restoration, Battel Hall boasts a unique history spanning
over 500 years, and will be opening its doors for bookings from Spring 2018. The stylish manor boasts distinctive character, period features and is a fine example of Kentish architecture of the middle ages.
The venue was built by Thomas de la Bataille, the master mason to King Edward II, and much of the venue’s original medieval details remain, including the arrow slit windows and stone corbels.
Say ‘I do’ in the beautiful Ceremony Room, featuring rich wood paneling, or under the historic bower, set amidst beautiful gardens.
The Library and Oak Room are also both perfect for intimate evening receptions. The ground floor De Gournay Reception Room is decorated with exquisite De Gournay wallpaper in a palate of yellows and creams, with large doors leading out to the gardens.
Upstairs, the five luxurious en-suit guest bedrooms offer incredible views of the gardens, the far North Downs and glimpses of Leeds Castle. Battel Hall is a wedding venue for all seasons, with open fires to warm the winter nights, and a 100-year- old perfumed wisteria blossoming over parts of the manor through late
spring and early summer.
The wedding team at Battel Hall would like to invite you to their Wedding Showcase on 16th & 17th June 2018.
For an exclusive opportunity to be one of the first bride and grooms to visit Battel Hall, visit their wedding showcase on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th June.
