Founded over 600 years ago, the Drapers’ Company is incorporated by Royal Charter and is one of the Twelve Great Livery Companies in the City of London. It has moved with the times and evolved into an organisation that addresses contemporary issues, gaining a new relevance through its philanthropic role.
The unrivalled grandeur and opulence of Drapers’ Hall provide a magnificent setting for every type of event – from business-related meetings, working lunches, and presentations to cocktail parties, dinners, celebrations and wedding receptions.
Frequently used by film-makers, Drapers’ Hall is steeped in history and home to many outstanding works of art. Richly decorated, and with its own unique atmosphere and ambience, Drapers’ Hall will provide a distinctive and unforgettable backdrop for your special occasion.
Additional outdoor space
Our suite of rooms for hire includes complimentary use of our beautiful and historic garden and courtyard – providing access to outdoor space rarely available in the heart of London. The garden, originally created in 1874, was most recently redesigned by Stephen Dykes Bower in the 1970s, while the courtyard was rebuilt in 1869 by Herbert Williams.
